The library will be CLOSED on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day federal holiday. Normal library hours will resume on Thursday, July 5 at 9:00 a.m. While we are closed, drop boxes will be available near the north (parking lot) entrance to the building for return of materials. All electronic services, including our media download center, digital archive, online catalog and databases will remain available 24/7 through our web site.
Mount Clemens Public Library is located in Macomb County, Michigan. We are one of the oldest public libraries in the state of Michigan, having been founded in 1865. MCPL is a member of the Suburban Library Cooperative (SLC), an association of public libraries in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.
