Adult Summer Reading Program Kicks Off Today

The library's adult summer reading club runs today through August 26, and we are encouraging adult readers to travel the world through books!  Each time an adult library card holder checks out books or audiobooks, he or she may complete an entry slip for one of our fun prize drawings, which will be conducted periodically throughout the program.  The more often readers check out library materials, the more often they can enter!  Digital checkouts count also, so please tell us if you download e-books or audiobooks from the library's Media Download Center.

Happy Reading!

Eagle Scout Project Enhances Children's Room

The next time you are in the library, be sure to take time to admire the colorful new display endcaps that were recently installed on the book stacks in the Children's Room.  This project was conceived, designed and executed by one of our Children's Room pages, Patrick, as part of the requirements for his Eagle Scout ranking.  The new endcaps allow for face-out display of library materials in a flexible format.  The library is very grateful to Patrick for all of his hard work and thank his entire team of helpers for doing such a professional job.
