Flags Lowered in Honor of Fallen Soldier

The library's flags are flying at half-staff today in honor of Army Private First Class Bradley D. Rappuhn of Grand Ledge who died August 8 at Zhari Kandahar, Afghanistan, while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Pfc. Rappuhn, age 24, died from injuries suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia.
