Our next scrapbooking open crop session at the library will be held on Tuesday, November 17 from 5-9 p.m. At 6:30, we'll show you how to make a unique louvered frame to showcase your photos, and we will also demonstrate the technique of bargello. Both techniques are made with folded strips of paper. Supplies you will need are 3-7 sheets of coordinating patterned paper, solid paper for the frame and background paper. If you have a scorer blade for your paper cutter and a bone folder these will help with folding the paper strips. As always, you can work on anything of your choosing if you don’t wish to do this project.
To register, phone the library at 586-469-6200, or click here. Now is a great time to make those special, personalized holiday gifts for family and friends.
