Michigan Vietnam Veterans Traveling Memorial Now on Display
Mount Clemens Public Library is proud to host the Michigan Vietnam Veterans Traveling Memorial this week. Presented by Chapter 154, Vietnam Veterans of America, the Memorial is a tribute to the more than 2,600 Michigan men and women who lost their lives during the Vietnam War. The Memorial will be on display on the main floor of the library during all regular library business hours now through Friday, November 13. Members of VVA Chapter 154 will be on hand during many of those hours to answer questions and interpret the exhibit for the public.
You are invited to visit, to contemplate the names on these panels, and to give honor to those who served. While the Memorial is in the library, we ask that all of our visitors help us to maintain an atmosphere of quiet dignity in the library by keeping conversations low and silencing cell phones. Your expressions of respect are appreciated.
