Picturing America Pays Tribute to Courage

For the next two months, the theme of the library's Picturing America exhibit is "Courage." Stop by the exhibit panels located near the south (Cass Avenue) entrance to view such masterpieces as John Singleton Copley's "Paul Revere," Norman Rockwell's "Freedom of Speech," Emanuel Leutze's "Washington Crossing the Delaware," and Winslow Homer's "A Veteran in a New Field," among others.

For more information on the program, visit the Picturing America website. Picturing America is distributed by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) in cooperation with the American Library Association (ALA).
