Plan Now For Your Vacation Scrapbook!

Attention, scrapbookers! When our Scrapbooking At The Library series resumes in the fall, our first session on Tuesday, September 15 from 5-9 p.m. will be devoted to creating a vacation scrapbook. Do you return home from vacation and dump all of your photos and memorabilia into a box or a drawer, never to be seen again? You can change this by attending our scrapbooking session and discover lots of ways to turn your photos and souvenirs into an attractive album that you will enjoy again and again. To help you get started, here's a list of memorabilia that you might want to set aside this summer for use in your scrapbook:
Photos
Tickets: plane, train, theme parks, theatre, museums, etc.
Brochures and programs
Maps
Foreign currency or postage stamps
Receipts for purchases and expenses
Paper napkins, placemats, coasters and matchbooks
Local flora
Sand
Seashells
Postcards

You may register for the September 15 scrapbooking session by telephoning the library at 586-469-6200, or by clicking here. Have a great summer!
