Mount Clemens Public Library is the proud recipient of The National Endowment for the Humanities' new Picturing America initiative. Picturing America provides an innovative way for citizens of all ages to explore the history and character of America through some of our nation's great works of art.
As one of the public libraries selected nationwide to receive the program, we now have high quality reproductions of American masterpieces which will be on exhibit in the library throughout the coming year. Every two months, we will display a different themed portion of the exhibit on the main floor of the library near the south (Cass Avenue) entrance. For the months of April and May, the exhibit theme is landscapes.
For more information on the program, visit the Picturing America website. Picturing America is distributed by the NEH in cooperation with the American Library Association (ALA).
