Presidential Campaign Memorabilia Now on Display

Have you ever wondered how presidential campaigns operated in the days before television and Internet? Then you will be interested in a new exhibit of presidential campaign memorabilia that the library is hosting now through November 7. The display includes buttons, posters, ribbons, sheet music and a variety of novelty items that were used to promote presidential tickets as far back as the candidacy of James K. Polk. You are invited to view the exhibit any time during regular library service hours. The presidential campaign memorabilia exhibit is located in the showcase near the entrance to the children's room.
